"In Security," Original Painting

"In Security," part of the series, Las Pioneras. Featuring a grasshopper sparrow and the skull of a Mexican wolf. The Mexican wolf is one of many animals whose habitats and migratory pathways cross US-Mexico borders. What happens to the birds' migratory flyways also happens to the wolves and other land animals.

11 x 14 ink and watercolor painting on archival Folio paper. Comes in a dark wooden and a grey matte.
