"Stewardship" features two Great Blue Herons integrated with a map of Iowa’s watersheds and rivers, to connect the story of material recovery with environmental responsibility. The pair of herons and systems of Iowa’s watersheds represent the necessity of dependable relationships within our community. Great blue herons are independent most of the year, but come together to form strong pair bonds and community during the breeding season.
